ABOUT SPCS

St. Paul Christian School is an accredited preschool in Westport, CT and a ministry of St. Paul Lutheran Church. We have been serving children and their families for over 40 years. With a modest beginning in 1976 serving only four children, we have grown into a premier program including classes ranging from our Mommy and Me One’s to our Five's Foundations Program.

Our mission is to provide a distinctly Christian environment that promotes the spiritual, social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of young children.  As an extension of the home, we work together with parents and care givers to provide an atmosphere that is nurturing and safe, creating a joyful foundation to each child’s school experience.

Our talented and caring teachers provide hands-on activities that foster creativity, independence, and an eagerness to learn. With a low student to teacher ratio, we celebrate individual interests and learning styles and have designed our curriculum to meet the age-appropriate developmental needs of preschool and Kindergarten children. By modeling patience and compassion, our teachers inspire little ones to express their love for God and one another. Our children play together, learn together, and make wonderful friends at St. Paul Christian School. We welcome all who are interested in exploring SPCS as a place for your child to begin a journey of exploration, friendship, and fun! For a tour, please call us at 203-227-7920.

Our Philosophy

We believe the Bible teaches that each child is created in God's image and will only be fully whole when born into a new relationship with God by water and the Word through faith in Jesus Christ. St. Paul Christian School, therefore, seeks to convey God's love in word and action, and to educate each boy and girl in Christian character.
